You can keep proxy disabled for your market 2.x, only check "Market Unlocker" to enable the function.

To work with new market 3.x,
1. Configure a USA (surely you can use other countries ip if they also support to show paid/restriced apps) proxy server and fill into market unlocker.
2. Enable proxy
3. Choose provider (optional. by default verizon is selected)
4. Check "Market Unlocker" to enable function.
That's all. Open Android market again, paid apps now are back to you. Good luck!

Amazon Appstore is supported.

Basically Amazon appstore does not allow users to buy paid apps from outside USA, even if users have been registered use US credit card and US address.

Market Unlocker can also set a USA proxy for Amazon appstore to help you buy daily free apps as well as paid apps.

To achieve this:
First install Appstore app, otherwise the function checkbox will not be visible.
1. Go to Proxy tab
2. Configure Proxy Type, Proxy Host, Proxy Port. Please make sure you're using an effect USA proxy server first.
3. Check "Involve Amazon Appstore" button
4. Enable "Enable Proxy" to "ON"
Then open Appstore again, it should now work for you.

Note: There's no need to enable "Enable Unlocker" for Amazon Appstore.


Q&A:

Q:where I can find free USA proxies? and why don't you provide proxies in this app?
A:search google. one example, http://proxy-ip-list.com/free-usa-proxy-ip.html. As they maybe frequently expire or be blocked, it does not make sense, even if leeching them automatcally somewhere.

Q:why I need use an USA proxy?
A:market 3.x is checking your ip address country. fake provider does not work any more. we need make it looks like a us user as well(from usa).

Q:why I can not connect to Market after enable proxy?
A:proxy server is broken or not supporting your request. try another proxy or disable proxy for free apps installation.

Q:why I enabled proxy, but still no paid apps visible to me?
A:you might have used a non-us proxy.

Q:How can I get a working US Amazon account?
A:Get a US billing adress and creditcard. If you don't have that you should generate the info from a site like this: Fake Name Generator(http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/

*** As you know, Tiny Flashlight is free, but also is one of the best supported apps on the Android Market. Currently, this is the only app that supports almost all devices with camera led (flash) and fully supports all versions of Android (1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 3.0). This takes huge amounts of time and effort and in order for Tiny Flashlight to remain the best flashlight on the market, I have to use ads inside it.

When the typewriter was originally invented, the letters were organized from A-Z for easy access. With the A-Z format, typing was fast and easy. However, having the most common letters together in the A-Z format caused the keys on the old-fashioned typewriters to jam. To prevent jamming, the QWERTY keyboard was designed.

Today, with virtual keypads, there are no keys to jam so there is no reason to have a Qwerty order for the letters. Since the screens are too small to type with all ten fingers, most people now use one or two fingers to type on Android phones. This creates a need for a new typing software to accommodate this change in typing style.

We, at Alpha Touch, LLC, have designed typing software called TouchText ™ that uses a “keypad” that is lettered in order from A-Z. If you know the alphabet, you will know where to touch the screen to find a specific letter. There are no keys, just a row of letters from A-Z from which to choose. To make it even easier, all you have to do is touch the row of letters on the screen approximately where your desired letter is, and the five letters nearest to where you touched become larger. Slide your finger over to the letter you want, and when you lift your finger, the letter is typed. With practice, typing is much easier, faster and more accurate using this new software.

After you download the software, simply go to settings and choose Language and Keyboard. Once you are in Language and Keyboard, select your input method as TouchText and check off TouchText Keyboard as your choice of keyboard. Then return to your home screen and you are ready to type with TouchText.

Known Issues:
-Bluetooth will disable when screen is turned off, regardless of connectivity, if not selected in the "While screen off".
-GPS has been known to remain connected on some devices and Android versions when settings should otherwise disconnect it.
-Some users have had their estimated remaining usage times disappear. This is a bug. To fix this bug:
1. Open BatteryXL
2. On the home screen, tap your phone's name next to the "Model:" interface, underneath the On/Off button
3. This opens the battery capacity interface. What is the value listed next to "Capacity:"? If it is not what your phone's current battery capacity (mAH) is, then edit this value accordingly. Search the internet if you are not sure.
